The time is ripe for “TIMEout”.

In our hectic and stressful world, where events seem to be happening at a rapid pace, it's good to pause for a moment. This is the intention of fingerstyle guitarist Alex Boldin from Erlangen with his debut album "TIMEout" for solo acoustic guitar. The album features 13 selected original compositions, which Alex will release in collaboration with renowned Canadian guitarist and producer Antoine Dufour in cooperation with Timezone Records at the end of 2022.

The songs deal with emotions such as being on a journey ('The Journey'), the perception of time ('TIME'), or a view of the endless starry sky ('Starry Sky'). Natural elements such as water ('Rising Tide', 'Flow'), the mountains ('Up In The Hills'), and the sun ('The Three Suns') are also included. The music ranges from the completely relaxed ('At Ease') to the almost crazy ('For All The Fanatics'). A diverse, musical journey of discovery, on which Alex Boldin coaxes a multitude of diverse sounds from his guitar.

"The songs were created over the last five years and have been my faithful companions in all walks of life ever since. I would now like to share them with all lovers of instrumental, virtuoso guitar music—and those who would like to become one," says Alex himself, promising moments of serenity, inspiration, and soulfulness.
