BAD MOON

Bad Moon was founded in the summer of 2018 by Jörg Willerscheidt (vocals, lyrics), Bernhard Schrader (bass, guitars), and Jens Munzert (drums) with the vision of a different kind of dark, 90s-inspired indie rock music. With Andreas Brychcy (guitars) and Frank Hunold (keyboards), who joined the band at the end of 2018, the guys released their first EP, "She sings love songs while our cities burn," on vinyl only. Three more self-distributed EPs followed. Finally, the essence of their music can be heard on their first full-length album, "No Me Mires," which will be released digitally and on vinyl via the renowned Sauerland indie label Langstrumpf Records. Listening to the dark, melodic, and deeply personal, expansive songs, one finds oneself in a strangely dark-hued fairground where early Nick Cave songs meet Tom Waits and echoes of Joy Division and late New Model Army. Visions author Sascha Krüger says about Bad Moon:

"It's rock music that radiates a rare urgency of "I have to be just like this" in every note played, every subtle lyrical innuendo, every deliberate stylistic deviation or rhythmic break."
