Barabás Lőrinc is a Hungarian trumpeter and composer who blends jazz, electronic music, and neoclassical music into a distinctive, modern sound. In his nearly two-decade-long career, he has released twelve albums as a solo artist and with various ensembles.

His solo performances feature cinematic, atmospherically dense compositions in which expressive piano playing and his characteristic trumpet sound combine with electronic beats and multi-layered sound textures. Trumpet, piano, and synthesizer merge into contemporary soundscapes that capture the spirit of neoclassical music, as shaped by artists such as Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds.

Barabás Lőrinc tours regularly throughout Europe and the USA. In recent years, he has shared the stage with artists such as Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, and Jean-Michel Jarre. He has also collaborated with renowned musicians including Erik Truffaz, Nicola Conte, Takuya Kuroda, Niklas Paschburg, and the American singer Valerie June.

His music has taken him to major international festivals and events, including the Montreux Jazz Festival, the North Sea Jazz Festival, the iTunes Festival, the Noosa Jazz Festival, the Hong Kong Jazz Festival, as well as Expo 2020 in Dubai and Expo 2025 in Osaka. He has also performed in New York and at international film and cultural festivals in Colombia.
