A classical songwriter usually travels alone. Traveling from city to city as a musician; completely on his own in concert, enjoying the freedom and letting things take their course based on a particular mood or responding spontaneously to the audience. This is precisely what Björn Nonnweiler loves so much about it, and what continually fascinates and drives him.

The guitar is his instrument and has played a major role in his life since childhood. For him, it's so much more than just a song accompaniment tool. Every single note counts, and with his sophisticated fingerpicking style and various open tunings, he creates a soundscape that provides the necessary foundation for his songs.

The album "Vergissmeinnicht" is Nonnweiler's first release on a label. "That I can finally let go of this album and that it has found a place on TIMEZONE Records makes me very happy," says the songwriter, who recorded and produced this album on his own.

A song shaped by the fear of war, but also by the tireless dream of a peaceful world.
