Greg Copeland, born in Virginia and now living in Hameln, Germany, began his career as a singer after serving in the US Air Force. Together with the Bluescats, he developed a program that explores the soul of the blues. The starting point of this musical journey is his deep, resonant voice: his very presence is impressive, but as soon as he sings the first note, you're instantly transported back to the 1960s – a time when blues and soul dominated the charts. From velvety smooth to raw and gritty, Greg Copeland interprets the blues, always imbued with the spirit of soul.

The Bluescats – Jens Filser (guitar), Bernd Oppel (drums) and Till Brandt (bass) – once again demonstrate their knack for providing the perfect accompaniment for a guest artist. With a modern groove and a deep respect for tradition, they create the ideal setting to showcase Greg Copeland in all his facets.
