The Cotton Pickers are a powerful hard rock and blues/rock trio who conquer the stage with uncompromising energy. Their sound is raw yet sophisticated – driven by thunderous guitars, gritty vocals, and a rhythm section that hits you right in the gut. Blending vintage influences with a modern edge, they deliver a sonic experience that leaves no one unmoved. As audacious as it may sound, the Cotton Pickers don't waver from their convictions – they've earned it through hard work.
In 2012, the band released their debut album, "Slaughterhouse Blues," on Long Play Records. Recorded in the unique setting of a former slaughterhouse converted into a studio, the album received critical acclaim both nationally and internationally. This success paved the way for years of relentless touring of clubs and festivals, during which the Cotton Pickers established a reputation as one of the most electrifying live bands on the scene.
In November 2025, their second studio album, "Pickin' Out Strong," was released on Menart Serbia. The album reflects the band's musical evolution and embodies what the members themselves describe as: "We're still the same – only much better." With its blend of vintage sounds and modern production, the album perfectly captures the essence of The Cotton Pickers. Recorded and mixed in May 2024 at Blaze Studio in Belgrade, it showcases the band's mature artistic vision without losing their raw spirit.
