Universe, the title of the new album by Don Kurdelius and the Mindless Orchestra, describes what many of us have experienced recently... You find yourself in your own little cosmos, shielded from the rest of the universe. Self-discovery... isn't that what it is...? To make it bearable and improve the situation as quickly as possible, the call goes: "Come On Everybody!"... to roam through these strange times with a funky groove and prevent things from getting worse.
“Slow Down” is a call to slow down and consciously breathe fresh air, because “It,” which we don’t want to name here, is spreading.
Yes, we have the blues...so what?
...Discover the wonderful things around you and don't focus too much on yourself. Move around and dance in large circles to the polka...!
And don't we also encounter this phenomenon regularly: HUH...??... what kind of uncontrolled madness is actually happening here, here, in our little world, ...somehow I feel "Far From Home", ...far away from the ...perhaps... good or even better universe...questions and thoughts...
"Ahead" says it with rock-like rigor: get out of here, I'm coming, and everything has to give way. So what?...isn't it also important to find your own path and move forward courageously...yes...yes...let's go...
...let's start a "revolution"!! Bring more love, understanding, empathy, consideration, support, and so on... all the good into the here and now, into our "universe"!!
