The Hanover-based singer/songwriter, born in 1974 and simply known as ELBSEGLER, began his music career in the early 2000s in various band projects before deciding to go his own way. In 2018, he first gained attention with his debut album, "ELBSEGLER - Fluss statt Land" (Flower Instead of Land), which was featured in WELT am Sonntag, among others.
His music is personal and fragile, revealing fears and perceived weaknesses, but also joy and vision. His lyrics and melodies offer insight into his intimate view of the world.
The follow-up album, "ELBSEGLER - Sommer 74," will be released on November 04.11.2022, 74, and will hold several surprises. The cover art for this album was created by two-time Grammy winner and Beatles friend Klaus Voormann. The ELBSEGLER is different, its music unadulterated and honest. The album "Sommer XNUMX" reflects these qualities uncompromisingly.
