FADY MAALOUF

For Fady Maalouf, his passion for music, especially singing, has always been paramount. As a young child, he sang in the church choir and, as a young adult, decided to pursue classical vocal training. Music helped him express his emotions and creativity.
Fady made his musical TV debut in 2008 on the TV show DSDS and, as a finalist, impressed not only his fans but also the record label Sony Music Columbia, who signed him. In the summer of 2008, Sony BMG produced the single "Blessed" and an album of the same name. The single and album both entered the German charts at number 2. The second single, "Amazed," also successfully placed in the top 30 of the German charts. The collaboration with Sony continued with the single "Into the Light" and the album of the same name. The album "City of Gold" followed in 2012, featuring a very organic sound. With this album, Fady also appeared as a composer for the first time.
Since 2009, the singer and songwriter has performed with excellent live musicians in various constellations, captivating audiences with his vocal presence and versatility, both in full band and unplugged performances. Fady loves the stage and enjoys engaging with his audience. Thanks to his many years of experience, he has a diverse musical spectrum. Soul, jazz, pop, and soft rock have all been part of his live repertoire.
Two years ago, Fady returned to his passion, opera, and rediscovered his powerful countertenor voice under the expert guidance of his vocal coach Andreas Talarowski. Without neglecting his pop skills, he has been practicing this range ever since, building a bridge between two worlds and expanding his vocal range.
This personal path, his connection to the Christian faith, and his desire to set no limits for himself ultimately led Fady to "Indigo," his fourth CD, a blend of classical sounds, pop, and soft electronic music. This extraordinary project includes newly produced arias as well as his own compositions with spiritual themes, such as the French "Our Father" and the Arabic "Ave Maria." The new sound of his fourth CD possesses a unique quality that reveals itself the more the listener opens themselves to this music.
