In February 2020, the band "Get the Cat" recorded two concerts at Haus Eifgen. The first was an electric recording, with Gero Körner as a guest on the Hammond B3 organ, and the following Sunday morning, an acoustic recording with Gero Körner on piano. Due to the standstill in cultural life caused by the pandemic, it wasn't until September 21 that the CD could finally be released. On this CD, the band showcases the full range of its musical expression. The acoustic recording from Sunday morning begins with double bass, piano, and acoustic guitar. The band demonstrates how subtly they can clothe the blues in a jazzy guise. Melanie Bartsch's warm, soft voice presents the songs, all written by Till Brandt, with charm and ease. Jens Filser and Gero Körner shine with solos that are as tasteful as they are virtuosic.

From the sixth song onwards, we've arrived at the Saturday evening program. After the instrumental opener "Ride With Mule 5," the band sounds considerably more powerful. "The Village In The Valley" is a song about the venerable Village blues club in the Obermühl Valley, performed as a vocal duet by Melanie Bartsch and Jens. Later on, Jens Filser demonstrates that he's not only a fantastic guitarist but also a soulful and expressive singer. Thus, "Live at Haus Eifgen" is an exceptionally diverse blues CD. The five musicians of "Get the Cat" not only showcase their individual talent but also manage to create a unique, warm, and powerful band sound. The Cat's groove is always precise yet relaxed and easygoing. The CD concludes with the wonderfully melancholic instrumental "Feeling Blue," whose organ and guitar solos are a delight to listen to.
