MARIAN KLEEBAUM

Given current world events, the title of Marian Kleebaum's new album, "The World Is Schizophrenic," could hardly be more fitting. Wars, climate deniers, fake news—humanity seems to be suffering from a comprehensive loss of touch with reality.

The singer-songwriter confronts this global madness with emotionally charged piano pieces and socially critical, jazzy pop songs. Marian Kleebaum largely lets the sounds speak for themselves. Four of the six pieces are purely instrumental and fluctuate between dramatic depth and hopeful playfulness. The other two tracks succinctly capture what the artist has to say. No more words are needed.

“The World Is Schizophrenic” will be released in stores and online on October 3, 2025.
