In her fourth album, "La course aux étoiles," singer Mélinée takes us on a musical journey. Her songs draw influences from rock, jazz, and world music.

She repeatedly tells us of her love for the men she's met, for her friends, and for Berlin, the city of her life. In rhythmic pieces or nostalgic ballads, she also sings of the travels that have captivated her, the magic of her childhood, the daughter she doesn't want, the vagaries of dating websites, the COVID-19 pandemic that has rocked the world, and more serious topics like cancer or drug addiction, which have affected several of her friends.

She writes her songs in French and sometimes in German in a poetic style characterized by humor and tenderness.
