ROMY CONZEN

Romy Conzen is a Belgian singer-songwriter with a distinctive personality and strong charisma. Raised in East Belgium as the daughter of a Dutch mother and a Belgian father, she is fluent in four languages: French, Dutch, German, and English. The performer studied classical guitar at the Liège Conservatory and composes her own songs.
Romy's first album, "Black As Night," was released in October 2012 and immediately garnered critical acclaim. Discovered as a new, energetic rock singer, her songs are being played on all radio stations in the Benelux countries. Romy is also making waves internationally, receiving airtime in England and on US TV.
In 2015 and 2016, numerous further performances followed in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, including as headliner of Belgium's largest festival "Les Francofolies de Spa", accompanied by enthusiastic media coverage.
Their latest studio album, "V for Victory," is once again storming the favorite playlists of radio DJs in the Benelux. With their diverse combination of funk and pop-rock, the singles "Aiaio" and "V for Victory" remain a fixture in the daily radio charts of regional stations.
With her versatile voice, warm and raspy in the acoustic ballad "Bitter Now" or rocking and powerful in "Going Down," Romy is currently considered Belgium's hottest act in a long time. Whether up close and personal with just an acoustic guitar and microphone or accompanied by her outstanding band, Romy breathes new life into the live music experience.
