Unbelievable, but true! ROSY VISTA from Hanover are generally considered Germany's very first all-female hard rock/metal band. In the 80s, they played with renowned bands such as Uriah Heep, Joe Cocker, and Manfred Mann's Earth Band, and went on promotional tours with artists including Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and Mötley Crüe.
In 1984, they released the mini-LP "You Better Believe It," which was neglected by the label at the time, ultimately leading to the band's dissolution in 1990. However, contact between the band members remained, and the rock ladies continued to play together occasionally – in different lineups and under different band names.
In 2002, the band briefly reunited, but due to the members' personal commitments, it didn't last long. A mere 30 years later, the album "Unbelievable" was released via SPV / Steamhammer and enjoyed tremendous response!
ROSY VISTA are no longer alone in the world like they once were, but are now competing internationally with up-and-coming all-girl bands like the Amorettes, Thundermother, and Burning Witches. But that shouldn't bother the Hanover-based band, because ROSY VISTA are still in a class of their own and have no need to look to their younger competitors. Reviews are full of superlatives, such as: "Frontwoman Andrea Schwarz easily outshines the entire competition. A truly strong comeback!"
Groove monster Marina Hlubek on drums is overjoyed to create a unique symbiosis with new bassist Heike Müller. Band leader, guitarist, singer, and producer Anca Graterol sums it up: "Everything feels so right! Unbelievable – the impulse from the past has become concrete! Rock 'n' roll will never die!"
