Energetic and with a folky sound, Salma mit Sahne releases four new German-language songs into the music world with "drüber weg." They move between delicate singer-songwriter sounds and exuberant soundscapes. An EP for all snooze-button addicts who often lose themselves in nostalgic thoughts and try to find their own voice in the world. Love is also not neglected on this EP, whether for others or for oneself. An EP for letting go, for "getting over it," or for already being there.

Salma's powerful voice and hurricane-like guitar playing swirl emotions from the farthest corners. Added to this is Lisa's second, meltingly beautiful voice, which also provides the supporting soundscapes with accordion. With Lennart on bass and Mathieu on drums, the music gets the necessary oomph! The EP "drüber weg" was produced and mixed by Max Power Production, who has previously worked with bands like Beatsteaks and Turbostaat.

Since 2018, Salma mit Sahne has been touring solo and with a band, playing numerous concerts throughout Germany, including supporting acts for Dota Kehr, Ronja Maltzahn, and Götz Widmann. In 2019, Salma mit Sahne received the Waldeck Cultural Scholarship and released her first EP that same year, about which Wolfgang Rumpfs (Radio Bremen Zwei) said: "Very successful, lively, swinging, surprising, a little absurd... bravo."

The release of the new EP "drüber weg" (over it) is accompanied by a sustainable concert tour by sailboat. Carried by the water and propelled by the wind, Salma with Sahne (solo) will embark on a sailing trip in the Flensburg Fjord from July 23.7rd to August 3.8rd. Eight concerts in German and Danish ports will take place during this period. With this sailing trip, Salma is exploring a new, sustainable touring option and sailing "over it" rather than following the conventional paths of the music industry.

“drüber weg” will be released by Timezone Records and will be available on all streaming platforms and on CD from July 21, 2023.
