On their new album 'Klartraum,' the Münster-based post-rock band Suntrigger reveals a new side of themselves. The coronavirus pandemic, personal loss and change, as well as social and political challenges shape the sound of the new album. 'Klartraum' is a powerful and danceable sound journey with plenty of melancholy, gloom, and hopeful glimmers of hope. Different from before, yet still unmistakably Suntrigger.

"The guitar/bass/drums trio rocks its way through instrumental and epic soundscapes. From hard riff parts, they move on to spacey melodies and from there into fat staccato attacks. Suntrigger's music thrives on dynamic variety and variation, and this can occur on all levels: different tempos, evolving grooves, or flowing harmonies. Not only does the guitar add a lot of edge, but the sometimes distorted bass lines and driving drum beats also come across really well.
