The four "Forgotten Sons" Gerry (Gerold Hinrichs), Kay Dee (Klaus Dörenkämper), Ringo (Peter Herzberg) and Woodpecker Cartwright (Michael Grunwald) from the Osnabrück district are counteracting the imposed Corona break 2020/2021 by producing their first CD.

The band's own song map with around 75 cover songs from the live repertoire provided 13 pieces that were

were initially pre-produced as demos under home studio conditions. In addition, THE

FORGOTTEN SONS OF BEN CARTWRIGHT arranged and recorded two new songs written by singer Gerry and his ne!en Sebastian Hinrichs.

With a distribution opportunity through the Osnabrück-based company TIMEZONE records and a booked recording studio in hand, the recording sessions finally began in the summer of 2021 at the "Mühle der Freundschaft" in Bad Iburg. In sound engineer and studio owner Marcus Praed, the four "Forgotten Sons" found an ideal partner for the realization of the project. At the end of the recording sessions, three guest musicians – fiddler Peter van den Bos (Music Road Pilots, NL), keyboardist Torsten Kappei (formerly of Country Express Salzgitter), and guitarist Martin Lutze (formerly of Southern Streamline) – enriched some of the songs with their musical talents.
