The story of The Travelling Stone (TTS) begins in March 2017. After a surprise appearance on Jan Böhmermann's NEO MAGAZIN ROYALE, the Osnabrück pop-rock band, which had been disbanded in 2015, decided overnight to reunite and take to the stage once more. After numerous performances and a lot of time and effort in the studio, the EP "Into The Opposite" was created.
TTS's sound is modern rock, rooted in classical guitar music. "Into The Opposite" therefore features both rousing stadium anthems and quiet pieces, particularly highlighting the clear and multifaceted voice of singer Maxi.
This refreshing blend of tried-and-true classic rock elements and radio appeal was also heavily influenced by a new lineup on guitar and bass at the end of 2017. The five Osnabrück natives are having fun on stage and are excited about the future.
