How did people live in earlier times with special behavior and characteristics?

VILNIR delves deeply into this theme and translates it into musical stories. The foundation is a Nordic musical style with fantasy elements, realized with hurdy-gurdy, nyckelharpa string instruments, and drums, among other instruments. The concept album "ELVA" tells a tragic and mystical fairytale from the far north. What's special about this story is that it addresses the topic of autism without mentioning it in the narrative or the songs. The story centers on a boy whose strange behavior sets him apart from the others, forcing him to escape into his own world. An extraordinary friendship with a creature named Elva leads to increasingly strange behavior as the story progresses, and as is often the case with typical Nordic tales, it all ends in drama and death!
