His playing can be described as impressionistic and meditative, with influences ranging from Brazilian folk music to North American jazz.

Technically adept, he combines classical playing technique with traditional fingerstyle technique. He has calmly developed his own sound and style, which also casually incorporates modern playing techniques.

He runs the private music school Musikstudio89 in Ettlingen, the music clubs at the Heisenberg Gymnasium, and teaches a guitar club at the special needs school for the visually impaired in Karlsruhe-Rintheim. Several CDs represent his musical work as a guitarist, composer, and producer.
