to go and reflect on himself and his life. The personal sound that emerged from this can be heard in all twelve tracks of the new album, "Route 69." Produced in studios in Berlin and Essen and released on Mitchell's own label, Z-Records, the guitar master also excels in songwriting and production. He is accompanied musically by David Haynes on drums and Sascha Kuhn on keyboards. Special thanks go to saxophonist Max Schurakowski. Todor Manojlovic plays guitar and also supports Zed Mitchell on vocals. This blend of outstanding musicians has resulted in a flawlessly crafted album that breathes new life into the blues-rock genre.
