ALWIN SMOKE will release his fifth full-length album, "SIX STRING STORIES," on November 12, 2021. The music on this album is entirely dedicated to handmade instrumental guitar rock music. Everything was played and recorded with "real" instruments and "handmade." With "SIX STRING STORIES," ALWIN SMOKE pays homage to his favorite instrument, the Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. He has composed and recorded 14 guitar instrumentals, each immersed in the sounds of the Fender Stratocaster, ranging from "pop-rock" to "classic rock."
"From Inner Peace To Outer Freedom" and "The Chaos Of Lenny" belong to the classic rock genre, while songs like "Expectations," "My Lovely One," and "Remembrance At Mary" can be placed in the realm of pop-oriented rock. "Spency," an electric guitar and electric bass duet, and "Bumble Bee," a purely solo electric guitar piece, are included on the CD. "Remembrance At Mary" is based on an old German folk song, now set to music as a guitar pop-rock instrumental.
Louis Engels (Hanau) is responsible for the mix of the songs "Seven Up," "The Chaos Of Lenny," "My Lovely One," and "Bumble Bee," while Stefan Noltemeyer (Berlin) handled all other songs and the entire mastering. The CD features a total of 14 electric guitar instrumentals that should appeal to fans of this genre. The cover was designed by Jens Zaremba, who is also responsible for the overall layout.
