In the early 80s, musician Bernward Büker founded a band, the BERNWARD BÜKER BANDE, to bring his many ideas and thoughts to stage and record. Things really took off right away... A record deal with WELTREKORD - EMI-ELECTROLA, the label of the band FEHLFARBEN, which, for better development, was further developed under the EMI major umbrella, but still operated independently! An incredibly creative time. Bernward attended the Hanover University of Music, studied acting, acted in TV series, and released!revealed his music, which was always difficult to categorize. Bernward simply did what he felt and wanted to do! He has remained true to this credo to this day! After excursions into pop-oriented genresfilde... topped off with hits like WILD ADVENTURES, he's been back on the road for some time now, performing live with a new version of the BERNWARD BÜKER BANDE in clubs and festivals. Back then on WELTREKORD, the band debuted with the mini-album HERZLICHEN GLÜCWUNSCH ZUR PSYCHOSE... and now the BERNWARD BÜKER BANDE is embarking on its next phase, again with a mini-album – ZEIT. Six brand-new songs, rocking, intense, and refreshingly unpolished, that don't gravitate toward the past, but don't deny it either, and with lyrics that reflect what concerns grown-ups!
