The Hamburg-based heavy rock band BLIND MAN'S GUN has had five eventful years. After numerous performances, including support for international and national artists, they worked intensively on new songs in 2015/2016 and will release them in the fall of 2016 on their new album "Beyond the Darkness" under the Alster Records banner.
Following their first EP, "HELLDORADO," in 2013, they're now following up with their new album, "BEYOND THE DARKNESS." The album's core is a trilogy that tells of the destruction of the Earth by humans, who ultimately attempt to save their own habitat.
The music is dramatic and passionate, every word carefully and powerfully interpreted. Heavy riffs meet Nadine's strong, melodic vocals and take an unpredictable course. This is precisely the hallmark of this band: continually providing musical surprises without sacrificing their style.
The album's motto is "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." by Confucius. It is intended to give people hope to rise stronger after failure.
BLIND MAN'S GUN reaches a new level and aims to push boundaries in every respect. The record was produced by Torben Ibs and Lars Springer on the controls. Music and lyrics were written by Lars Springer and Nadine Meyer. Henning Basse handled vocal recording and backing vocals.
