What happens when two "giants" of the German blues scene and a "young lion" on drums meet at a jam session and realize they're "made for each other"? They decide to showcase their fantastic groove in a joint project from now on – and because the whole thing is born out of pure joy in playing, a trio is born that is unparalleled in spontaneity and freshness.
When tenor saxophonist and singer Tommy Schneller, the already legendary pianist Chris Rannenberg, and drummer Alex Lex play together, it's a completely new, exciting, and stimulating experience, even for seasoned blues fans. By chance, the three met Australian trumpeter Adam Hall in February 2012, who was touring with saxophone legend Big Jay McNeely at the time. After a brief jam session, it was clear! We had to do something together.
