After their two studio albums, Black Box and Kickin', the Hanover-based heavy rock band has managed to capture their live qualities on record with their new album, Caution! Contains Loud Music!
“We wanted to sound like four men sweating together to celebrate the ultimate hard and heavy music, and not like a highly polished, perfectly boring plastic band,” says Jürgen Wulfes, commenting on the production philosophy.
The result is thirteen powerful, potent anthems, carried by Jürgen Wulfe's exceptional voice, rooted in classic hard rock and heavy metal. The recordings took place in February 2014 under the direction of Ossy Pfeiffer and Anca Graterol at the Frida Park Studio in Hanover (MSG, Thunderhead, among others).
Cholane was founded by Jürgen Wulfes (vocals, guitars); since 2011, Niels Sörenhagen (bass), Kai Steffen (guitars) and Daniel Knop (drums) have been fighting alongside him in the fight for loud, handcrafted rock music.
