Since their formation in 2011, four guys from Schwanewede (near Bremen) have been causing a stir not only in the northern German motorcycle scene. With their self-titled "Moped Metal" style mix of German and biker rock, the quartet from Daalschlag has already become a household name nationwide and regularly creates a great atmosphere on and in front of stages across Germany.
With "Kickstart," their second full-length album has now seen the light of day, once again answering the question: Bikes, metal, and humor – do they go together? A resounding yes! Because this trinity is precisely what the northern Germans have elevated to the mainstay of their sound. The songs are sometimes raging, sometimes metal, and, of course, the occasional ballad isn't missing. The songs are garnished with witty and (self-)ironic lyrics that seamlessly reflect the passions of the quartet, whose members previously earned their stripes with acts like Unrest, Northern Tales, and FrontEars... and that passion is bikes, women, and cold drinks.
