A good friend of the band speaks of the end of the pop music winter, grinning as he sucks on his herbal wick. He feels transported to a moment of subtle, sympathetic intelligence, floating through the room, but is suddenly jolted out of his lethargy by a special kind of sound explosion, and finds himself dancing beneath the disco ball.
He feels inspired, liberated, imagining a colorful journey in a VW hippie bus. The sun rises, and he moves arm in arm with his beautiful girlfriend through endless expanses. But even at night, this sound can convey a certain warmth, so that the light returns no matter what, and the returning joy is evident in every face...
That's what Don Kurdelius And The Mindless Orchestra aim to do: They convey emotions, expose human madness, cross boundaries, and don't fit into any one box - sensitive musical collages, dancing rhythms, fantastic groove, luminous harmonies and, above all, lots of fun.
