Due to the international success of their 2020 double album "Quiet Days on Earth," Nico Walser and Hagen Bretschneider decided to expand their existing duo studio project with additional creatives. The six creators of the brand-new album "The Inner World Outside" now call their style "Cinematic Prog Art."
With the addition of German-English film composer and conductor David Marlow, they expand their symphonic approach, and with theoretical physicist "Timoog" Timo Aspelmeier, they add a Canterbury influence, among other things. They have secured Berlin-based Judith Retzlik on violin, viola, and cello. Photographer Andrea Weiß strengthens the team with her visual ideas and digital art.
With their work, Electric Mud, who live in Germany, focus on topics such as isolation, social change and escapism.
