"Compassion" is a jazz pop album by Inga Eichler. Inspired by the musician's years of experience, it uses vocals and acoustic sounds to tell of life, love, and a spirituality that encompasses us all. Tracks like the single "Walk With You" are catchy and convincing with their production. The song "Longwhile" also surprises with its German rap and modern flair. Inga Eichler is a storyteller with high musical standards. (Andreas Landrock)
With "Compassion," Inga Eichler and her band Endeevior present a new jazz-pop album. Vocals and acoustic sounds, such as "Walk with You," reflect the young Wuppertal native's experiences of life, love, and spirituality, stemming not least from ten years spent in London, studying, and numerous performances, including at the renowned Ronny Scott Jazz Club. She has toured worldwide, including with Chihiro Yamanaka, which took her to Japan and the USA. Compassion will be released as a CD by Inga Eichler in August 2021. The double bass-playing musician also contributed some of her own compositions for the CD of the same name to the London band Nerija, which participated in the Wuppertal jazz meeting in 2014.
