Actually, they write and draw children's books – Fanz and Firle. As the "kings of the cardboard picture book," they've published over 70 of them so far, and there's no end in sight. But every now and then, they treat themselves to a break from books. Then they make music. They write songs and perform them together with Grete, Prof. Dr. Bumm, and Mr. Und.
On their first CD, Firlefanz and Grete play songs for little big ones and big little ones (from 3 to 333). There are well-known children's songs with a new twist, like "Green, green, green" and "In a little apple," but above all, there are beautiful, melodic, groovy new songs: about strange aunts, disgusting vegetables, stuffed animals falling asleep, dogs ready for vacation, and a small but very important word that all children should know (and without giving it away completely: please and thank you aren't).
