When the offbeat, nonsensical band from Kloster Oesede released their CD "Die Polterei auf der Bounty" (The Poltergeist on the Bounty) in 2002, opinions were mixed. Their offbeat verses divided critics. Their music was loud and painful, yet captivating, danceable, and passionate. After touring from youth centers to established rock clubs across Germany, Frog Bog Dosenband garnered national press attention.
