Garage 3 - Blues zum Frühstück (CD)
Is there life after a No. 1 hit? ...yes, yes, yes, now it's time to roll up our sleeves again...
With “Gross National Product,” singer/songwriter Friedel Geratsch landed a No. 80 hit in half of Europe in the 1s, and now... Garage 3.
"They're completely out of their minds," you might think when you see Garage 3 perform. Friedel Geratsch, the band's singer and guitarist, builds his instruments from precisely these slats and a few old cigar boxes. Strung with three or four strings and played with a bottleneck, they form the basis of the trio's raw, unpolished sound.
Drummer Stephan Schott and bassist Tom Baer provide the rhythmic foundation. Garage 3 is Ruhrpott rock with German lyrics, authentic, independent, and handcrafted.
