Grayhound OCD is a new alternative rock band from southern Hesse and was founded in the summer of 2010. Singer Gray recorded the debut single "Love from outta space" in the fall of 2009 together with producer/guitarist Rolf Munkes and Daniel Gumb on bass in the Empire Studios in Bensheim for the then-unnamed project. Musically, the band oscillates between emotionally charged alternative rock and anthemic power pop. Distorted guitar walls paired with delicate melodies meet driving rhythms and charismatic, soulful vocals. Grayhound OCD are catchy and distinctive. Their lyrics address the "big" issues and emotions of humankind, especially love in its many different forms.
