Hartholz are four guys from Brandenburg. They're just your next door kind of guys, but somehow they're completely different. They try out more things here. Punk and metal influences, sure, they have them! But doesn't everyone do that? If you only think of dull 4/4 licks and flat lyrics when you think of German-language rock, you're wrong about these guys! Well-arranged riffs and honest lyrics that don't sound precocious make it clear, at the very latest when singer Jogi picks up his trumpet: These guys may not have reinvented the wheel, but they have put a lot of heart and soul, over three years, alongside their professional and private lives, into an album that will give many a new feeling for German rock! A breath of fresh air in old sails, sometimes stormy, sometimes shallow.
