With her expressive, bluesy voice and keen sense of jazz, she and her band are able to blend different genres, creating a very special and original color that has become their own sound. In the studio, a strong feeling emerged, like a great river fed by diverse waters, incorporating elements from blues to soul, jazz, Latin, and pop, blending them into a cohesive structure.
The spectrum ranges from yearning jazz ballads like “The Christmas Song,” the racy Latin groove “Let It Snow,” the sexy-bluesy “Blue Christmas” to “Sleigh Ride,” which swings and won’t let you sit still.
The record ends in the most gentle way with the ethereal interpretation of the traditional Christmas carol "Away In A Manger." "It features everything that's musically fun at the end of the year!" says Jasmin Bayer with a wink.
