"Chain Reaction" is Joachim Schuette's fourth and new CD. Joachim is a guitarist, live and studio musician, textbook author, and guitar teacher from Hanover. After three productions with his band LA SUX, this time it's a solo project. Despite their complexity, Joachim's new compositions are also convincing, with their high recognition value and demonstrate that perfectly composed songs and technical skill don't have to conflict with captivating melodies and feeling. Joachim Schütte's fourth album offers fusion-influenced rock music and emotional ballads that are clearly outside the run-of-the-mill framework, featuring lush riffs, intricate and meticulously detailed arrangements, an energetic rhythm section, and a crystal-clear, powerful sound—the perfect appeal for guitar fans and rock music lovers who have high standards for sound quality, musicality, and songwriting.
Also interesting is the title "32 Strings," a composition for acoustic guitars and string instruments, in which Joachim is supported by cellist Hans Georg Reumschüssel and violinist Pablo Hopenhayn. On some pieces, Dietrich Pinhammer can also be heard on keyboards and Hammond organ, as well as the two percussionists Jürgen Fitzinger and Sebastian Vogt.
