The duo's program features encounters of diverse kinds. In the "Suite hellénique" by the Spaniard Iturralde, Greek folklore encounters both waltz and funk, and Piazolla's "Café 1930" encounters tango. Michael Starke's work "Trois visions" explores various encounters with God in the Old and New Testaments; in Wolfram Graf's "Trois nocturnes," impressionistic soundscapes are juxtaposed with modern musical language; and in Milhaud's "Scaramouche," the composer integrated his encounters with Brazilian music, bringing it to a furious close with a samba-inspired finale.
