Karl Neukauf, a Berlin-based chanson and songwriter, processes impressions from his years of touring Germany, particularly from west to east, on his fifth album, "Karleidoskop." In small towns and on stages in pubs and churches, he seeks direct contact with audiences, discussing political and social issues such as migration and media trust.
