ketelsen niklas rathke - Rockelbabys (CD)

Veteran rocker Manfred Rockel from Lingen asked Leipzig music professor Ralf Schrabbe, who was originally from Lingen, if he would be interested in rearranging and recording some of Rockel's numerous songs. Schrabbe delegated the task to three of his music students. Over the course of a year, Johannes Niklas, Lilly Ketelsen, and Mathis Rathke (with guests) produced the CD with primarily German lyrics: Rockelbabys.
The CD seems to be a success, as some listeners who gave me advance copies have had very positive reactions:
"The songs are superbly arranged, sometimes rocky, sometimes jazzy, sometimes reggae-style. And what a great singer! A real treat for the ears."
