Spherical, meditative sounds and a breathtakingly beautiful voice invite you on a journey through landscapes full of dark beauty, creating images that open up new or previously thought lost worlds.
Carsten Hundt is the man behind the Lambda project. The trained double bassist devoted himself to classical playing for a long time until he decided to expand his repertoire to electronic music in 1997. Synthesizers and electronic gadgets combine with the classic sound of the double bass to create the dark, ethereal atmosphere typical of Lambda. Since 2010, Hundt has been joined by singer Mareike Greb.
The gentle voice of the professional musician, dancer, and actress blends harmoniously with the sound of the music without intruding on the foreground. The stories she tells in her lyrics are partly spoken, partly sung, and always delivered with great emotion.
