With Unspoken , Līva Strazdiņa opens up a captivating soundscape that blends modern jazz, lyrical melodies, and emotional depth. On this contemporary jazz album, the trumpeter, flugelhornist, and composer combines sensitive original compositions with musical sophistication, improvisational freedom, and an impressive joy in playing. Together with top-notch musicians, she has created an album that touches, surprises, and lingers long after the last note fades. A debut full of character – authentic, poetic, and remarkably artistically mature.
"A real discovery for me in its urgency. Valuable. Go see it!" – Till Brönner
