The band Luah consists of three delicate musicians who create something entirely new with their arrangements and unusual instrumentation. The compositions combine jazz, folk, and pop elements and utilize English and Portuguese. The three women explore new and different hues, transporting listeners to diverse worlds. Time and again, the three voices intertwine to create a unique palette of colors, combined with a jazzy guitar sound to create an expressive and unconventional sound. Singers such as Joni Mitchell and Becca Stevens have been particularly inspiring to the band.
