Marian Lux, born in Bad Freienwalde, works as a film composer and pianist in Berlin. His career has included attending the music school in Bad Freienwalde, Brandenburg, the Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach Music High School, and studying at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. His writings include the music for various TV series, including "The Fat Man" and "The Family Lawyer" (both with Andreas Bick), as well as the fairytale adaptations of "Brother and Sister," "The Clever Peasant Daughter," and "The Shoes That Danced to Pieces." In Easter 2015, the 13-part mystery series "Arman's Secret," featuring Marian's film music, aired on ARD. In 2005, his symphony piece "Dreamwalks" premiered at the Konzerthaus Berlin under the direction of Sebastian Weigle. Further performances followed at the Graz Opera House, with the Wiesbaden State Orchestra, and in Lithuania with the "Young Brandenburg Philharmonic." In 2011, Marian received the award for Best Accompanist at the National Chanson/Musical Competition, sponsored by the weekly newspaper "DIE ZEIT." In 2012, Marian made his film debut with his first score for the mystery thriller "Du hast esversprechen" by Alex Schmidt, winning the award for Best Film Music at the Lünen Film Festival. In 2013, he was commissioned to compose the symphonic poem "Die Havel," which premiered in June 2015.
Numerous national and international guest appearances have taken conductor Jörg Iwer to Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Paris, Graz, Zurich, Bern, Milan, the Lviv State Opera House, the Lyric Opera Singapore, Guangzhou and Taipei. Jörg Iwer has conducted more than 2005 concerts with the Belarusian State Philharmonic Orchestra in Minsk, as well as the Taiwan State Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de Chambre Ville d'Avray in Paris, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra and the Mesa Symphony Orchestra in Phoenix, Arizona. From 2007 to 110 he was musical director of the Wörthersee Festival in Klagenfurt. He can be seen as a conductor and composer on records, CDs, DVDs and videos and has participated in radio recordings for WDR and Bayerischer Rundfunk. Jörg Iwer is one of the few conductors who has also made a name for himself as a composer and arranger. His conducting repertoire includes more than 20 stage works and all major symphonic works of all genres and eras, including classics such as Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Bruckner, and Mahler, as well as numerous works from the 21th and XNUMXst centuries. He is a guest conductor of the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg.
