Plot: "Escape to Pepperland" is the first installment in the "Timeship Unicorn" series and also episode 1 of the "Pepperland Trilogy." It tells the adventures of Kire, who escapes from Pomerania to the Harz Mountains in 1945. It also marks the beginning of a "triangle friendship" between Kire, Huck, and Paulina, who are brought together by a secret society to rescue their guild of master storytellers into the future. But war is still raging, Kire and Paulina have lost their memories, and the triangle can trust no one—not even their own guild. The guild sees Kire as the chosen one, destined to build a timeship in the future that will save stories. The shadows of the Dreamless want to prevent precisely this, and the future is in constant flux.
