Music is a reflection of the times in which it is created – for MEILENTAUCHER, it's also a reflection of emotions. They appeal to the masses, yet retain their individuality. Their German-language songs embody the perspective of their own generation; their refreshingly optimistic sound combines catchy melodies and energetic pop-rock with a keen sense of joy and is absolutely danceable – young, creative, and authentic.
Hendrik Schumacher (vocals, guitars), Julian Marz (drums, vocals), Sebastian Mayer (guitars, vocals), and Jannis Klettke (bass) have gained valuable experience together and, along the way, have gained many fans, even far beyond their hometown of Hoya in Lower Saxony. Following national success in the SchoolJam music competition, their first EP, "WIR," was released in 2017. This was followed by support concerts for nationally renowned artists, including "The Voice" judge Henning Wehland. The young musicians surprised audiences with an inclusive music education project based on the song "Wir alle sind Künstler" (We are all artists) in collaboration with Lebenshilfe (life support organization), as well as a television appearance as part of the "Welcome to Europe" event at Europa-Park in Rust.
With their debut album “Zeitlos” released in 2020, MEILENTAUCHER want to continue transforming stages into a sea of energy and passion and captivate audiences more deeply than ever before.
