Folk songs in the best singer-songwriter tradition and 30s swing in the spirit of Django meet raw and punk beats. Together with his band, Stuttgart musician Micha Schlüter presents a diverse album with diverse facets on his new album "Schimpanse & Kanone." He calls it "Indie Swing" and "Jazzy Folk Punk." He learned his craft at music college and released an EP in recent years and now his third album, “Schimpanse & Kanone”. In 2012, he founded the FeierabendKollektiv with musician friends, which has garnered a stir, particularly through the annual Vive la Vie Festival in Stuttgart. Micha performs live with his band or as a duo with fellow collective member Florijan van der Holz. In addition to songwriting, he is also the frontman of the band bellalebwohl.
