Two voices, acoustic guitars, dobro and lap steel, plus a whole case full of harmonicas: Michael van Merwyk and Gerd Gorke have both been at home in acoustic music for over 40 years – together, performing under the pseudonym "The Delta Boys," they transform every stage into a Southern porch. "Front Porch Music" brings together 20 songs from their years together: from the country blues "29 Ways" to the tongue-in-cheek "Your Mind Is on Vacation" and "I Can See Clearly Now," to the gospel "I'll Fly Away" and the "Tennessee Waltz." Both are winners of the German Blues Challenge; van Merwyk and his band Bluesoul took second place at the 2013 International Blues Challenge in Memphis – the best result ever achieved by a European band there.
