Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen take the audience on an acoustic treasure hunt into the depths of the Caribbean at the time of Henry Morgan, Blackbeard & Co.
The repertoire of the three pirates Mr. Hurley, Buckteeth Bannock and the one-eyed Morgan includes an adventurous mix of their own humorous songs, traditional Irish folk songs, shanties, evergreens from the good old pirate films and calypso island music.
Anyone who has the opportunity should definitely stop by one of their numerous concerts for a glass of rum. Their varied shows are danceable, occasionally historically informative, and, above all, highly entertaining.
