The sewing machine quartet has found its sound with its third studio album, "Times": the unmistakable dialogue of saxophone and guitar, which has now become the hallmark of the young Munich quartet. "Times" ushers in a new era, so to speak, in the eight-year history of the quartet led by guitarist Simon Harscheidt, during which the melody instrument has changed several times. However, the composer's overarching goal has remained unchanged since the beginning: the melodies of his songs should be beautiful, catchy, and occasionally a bit provocative. Why shouldn't contemporary instrumental jazz also be able to create catchy tunes?
